SaltDogg Hydraulic Carbon Steel Under Tailgate Spreader is built to last. The under tailgate spreader is made of durable orange powder-coated carbon steel. It features an anti-flow plate, and 1/4 in. endplates. An extended endplate model is also available. A three-point hinged bottom cover allows easy access to the entire auger assembly and hassle-free cleanout. The spreader is equipped with a 6 in. auger with 3/8 in. flighting, and comes with an auger screen and a hydraulic safety lockout system.
This under tailgate spreader gets the job done. It runs a direct-coupled, hydraulic drive system for both the auger and the spinner. The spreader also features a sealed, self-aligning 1-1/4 in. diameter bearing with grease fittings, and low-speed, high-torque orbital motors.The 18 in. poly spinner can cast material up to 40 ft. The spreader is available with center or left discharge.
