    • The conveyor is driven by a hydraulic motor with your choice of a 25:1 or 50:1 worm gear box, or a 6:1 spur gear box. The spinner is powered by a direct mount hydraulic motor. The spreader features a heavy duty driveline, including a 2 in. drive shaft and bearings with 8 tooth sprockets, and a 1-1/2 in. spring loaded idler shaft and bearings with 8 tooth sprockets.

 

    • The spreader comes with a 20 in. poly spinner or an optional stainless steel spinner and can cast material 2 to 40 ft. The baffles and spinner chute height are adjustable to fit your application. The chute and spinner assembly flips up or detaches completely for convenient bulk unload, easy servicing, and access to towing.

 

    • A SaltDogg stainless spreader is an investment made to last. Its hopper and fully welded frame are made from high quality 304 stainless steel for long lasting corrosion protection. The hopper also comes outfitted with a top screen. It’s the perfect, heavy duty, under-tailgate spreader that can handle 3/8 in. gravel in addition to bulk salt and salt/sand mixes. The spreader works with 96 in. wide dump bodies.

 

    Hydraulic spreader controls are sold separately. A variety of options are available, including manual hydraulic, manual with load sensing, and electric over hydraulic (available with or without GPS). The spreader also comes outfitted with six 3/8 in. heavy duty hinged-top screens with 2-1/2 in. openings.
